i thought i would receive a warm welcome, but instead was treated very unfriendly at reception. paying extra to get to the hotel and dealing with cold chicken fajitas that made my stomach churn was just the icing on the cake. i almost would have given a good review, but just couldn’t, sadly.

The staff were exceptional. always kind and attentive during our stay. , The room provided a nice retreat from the heat with its air conditioning. , The setting is delightful, allowing us to enjoy beautiful garden views right from our room.
The room's bathroom showed signs of wear and could use some refreshing.

The air-conditioned cabins are a nice touch in this humid jungle setting, making the stay quite comfortable. The experience of reaching the hotel by boat adds a unique charm to the adventure.
Some of the rooms feel a bit worn, like the bathrooms, which could use a refresh—those outside showers aren’t exactly appealing with dirty concrete. The pool's filtration system seemed inactive during my stay, leading to a few floaties, and the restaurant can be overrun by insects in the evenings, making dining somewhat less enjoyable.

Nature vibes and awesome guides!
Spent 2 nights at this charming spot right on the canal. The boat ride in was epic, and I loved chillin' by the small pool after long days exploring with our awesome guide, Luis. The food at the restaurant was really good—just wished the room was a tad brighter. The staff were super friendly, making it feel like home!
